The Unconscious Mind

"All learning, change and behaviour takes place at an unconscious level".

Our journey together will often start with tapping into the energy of your unconscious mind.

We will explore all there is to know about your conscious and unconscious mind including:

  • What they are
  • The difference between the conscious and unconscious mind
  • How the unconscious mind works
  • How the unconscious mind runs your body
  • How your unconscious mind knows your perfect blueprint for health
  • How your unconscious mind stores emotions (energy in motion)
  • How negative emotions may get "stuck" 
  • How "stuck" negative energy may manifest in physical symptoms
  • How we can use the power of the unconscious mind to start your energy flowing again.

Working with the Unconscious Mind

Energy will flow where your attention goes.

We will explore ways in which you can work with your unconscious mind:

  • To remove any "stuck" negative emotions from your body
  • To remove any limiting beliefs or limiting decisions which no longer serve you
  • To connect to new beliefs that do serve you
  • To explore the concept of perception is projection

Using Hypnosis and Neuro-linguistic-Linguistic Programming techniques I can help you with:

  • Phobias such as claustrophobia during scans and radiotherapy, and needle phobia

Mind-Body Connection

Our bodies respond to the way we think, feel and act. Very often I see people focusing either on their physical wellbeing or their emotional wellbeing.

We can't separate them! A healthy mind equals a healthy body and vice versa.

Every piece of information that is generated in our unconscious mind within our neurology is held within every cell in our body. This is energy!

We will explore the use of language in the mind-body connection, and using Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) help you to make positive changes.

  • Neuro - refers to our neurology and our way of processing the world
  • Linguistics - refers to the language and processing that we go through in our minds. The words we use and the labels we put on things to make them real
  • Programming - refers to the way we structure our internal model of what our reality is. It is how you perceive the world around you

Breathwork

Breathwork is becoming increasingly popular as a holistic therapy. And breathwork isn't new, it has been around for thousands of years.

Breath is our life force energy, so its no wonder that breathwork has so many benefits for our health. It can be done discreetly, anytime, anywhere to help manage symptoms and anxiety.

Breathwork may be weaved into your sessions, and together we can explore:

The Lymphatic System

The lymphatic system is a one way drainage system. Its function is transport and defence.

Unlike blood circulation, which has a two-way transport system that is pumped by the heart, the lymph relies on movement, breathing, gravity and energetic flow to transport it in one direction only.

We may explore the power and flow of the lymphatic system, learning about lymph and lymph nodes, as well as the prevention and management of lymphoedema.

AND we may also explore the flow and rhythm of the lymphatics in the greater sense of divine feminine energy, empowerment, self love, embodiment of movement and the innate power we hold within.  

Fatigue

Living with fatigue is exhausting. Very often people living with or beyond cancer experience fatigue as a symptom of both the illness itself, and any treatment associated with it. 

Fatigue can have a huge impact on your emotional and physical wellbeing.

It is very often misunderstood and  underestimated by healthcare professionals.

We will explore strategies that may help fatigue including:

  • Rest
  • Activity
  • Nutrition
  • Energy conservation
  • Energy restoration 

The Magic of Energy and Chakras

The chakra system and all it encompasses is fascinating. The chakras themselves are complex energy centres in the body.

Each one has a specific location and function. They are described as discs of spinning energy, that vibrate at certain energy frequencies corresponding to major organs and body functions.

Chakras need to stay open and balanced in order to support optimal health. When a chakra becomes blocked, we can experience emotional and physical symptoms as a result.

Chakras can be affected by too little, or too much energy - and as a result can become underactive and stagnant, or overactive and dominant. 

We will explore and work with the seven main chakras that run along the spine. Having an awareness of our chakras and maintaining balance can have a profoundly positive impact on all areas of our lives. 

Scar Healing and Body Image

Embracing divine feminine power, we may go on a journey of self-love if this is appropriate for you.

Personally I think this is hugely important for everyone, whether you have surgical scars or not.

Scars are way more than scars, they are a sign of your incredible power, they are to be worn with pride.

We can explore the clinical side:

  • Scar healing
  • Keeping scars mobile
  • Scar tightening
  • Movement restriction

AND we can also embrace Goddess Energy, womb magic, transformation, healing and activation including:

Crystals and Energy

Using the energy of crystals for healing is a very special and ancient art. Every crystal has a unique internal structure, and every crystal vibrates at a certain frequency.

Every cell in every living thing has an electrical charge. We are all made up of energy, and everything around us is made up of energy.

When crystals are close, or directly touching the cell, or within its bio-magnetic field, the energy from the crystal can restore the energy of the cell, bringing it back into balance.

We may use crystal healing within your sessions, and can explore together:

The power of essential oils is where my own holistic journey began. Never underestimate the power of essential oils, they have super-powers!

The Benefits of Exercise

Keeping active can help you cope with some of the side effects of cancer treatment, and recovery following treatment. 

Very often I see people who simply don't know where to start, what type of exercise to do, and how often to do it.

Whether you are new to exercise or are used to being active, regular exercise can help you feel better in lots of ways.

For people living with or beyond cancer being physically active has so many benefits.

I can help you understand:

A Cyclical Living Approach

For a long time now I've been exploring how cyclical living can link with our energy levels. In particular in relation to our own natural cycles and the moon cycle, and becoming in tune with your cycle and how your body responds each month.

The importance of finding balance cannot be overstated - and being able to do so can have a hugely positive impact for anyone living with cancer.

As much as society would like to tell us otherwise, we simply can't be busy all the time. Our bodies need some rest too, rest itself is productive as it allows us to repair and regenerate.

We will explore:

  • The different phases of the moon cycle and how this energy can impact how we feel
  • How to tune into this energy 
  • Planning, pacing and prioritising in flow with your own cycle
